Even if you are registered here for a long time: Welcome! It always is nice to have some more members from abroad. How about a meeting in Norway one day?
First about the steeringwheel diameter: For traffic laws, the force needed for steering, even if the powersteering fails, may never exceed a certain amount, which is in relation of the force a person can give to the steering wheel. That's why the steeringwheel of the MB-Trac is rather large.
Second about your German; because you are reading a lot here (I presume), you should give it a try to write in German... That is the same way I've started writing here.
